Serving Thanksgiving at Homeless Shelter

posted Oct 24, 2014, 12:35 PM by Andrew Warner   [ updated Oct 24, 2014, 12:35 PM by Barbara Parkman ]

What better way is there to show our gratitude than to serve a Thanksgiving meal to the 86 men at the Guest House?

We will serve lunch at noon on Thursday, 11/27, and will need many people to cook and 10-20 to serve.

The kitchen at the Guest House is very small, so the items you provide will need to be dropped off warm at 1216 N. 13th Street. There are ovens to re-heat, but no stovetop. Disposable pans would be ideal, as managing the return of dozens of pans will be daunting.

If you are interested in being a part of this celebration of gratitude, you can sign up here with what you will provide and note if you plan to stay to serve.

As questions arise, please contact Pastor Bridget in the church office, and watch here for more info. THANK YOU!
