Children and Youth
Children's Program
Our congregation is committed to cultivating people’s relationship with the Bible through the practice of “life-giving Bible study” – engaging the wisdom of the scriptures to better understand God and ourselves. Church School for children in grades K4 - 5th takes place on Sundays (Sept - May).
Youth
On Friday, November 18, join with youth from around Southeast WI for an overnight Housing Insecurity Workshop. We'll meet at 5:30 PM at Tippecanoe Presbyterian Church to have dinner and spend the night in the space they provide in the winter for those experiencing homelessness. On Saturday, we'll have a simple breakfast then go out to volunteer at a local organization providing services for the homeless in Milwaukee.
Register to attend at: https://bit.ly/YouthHomelessEvent2022.
On Friday, December 2, youth and families are invited to go next door with us to UWM's Manfred Olson Planetarium to view an 8:30 PM private showing of their program on the Northern Lights. Then we'll return to Plymouth to learn about the Mexican tradition of los Posadas (the inns).
There are many events for youth at Plymouth Church, such as retreats and service projects. We hold confirmation class for youth in grades 9-10 every other year.
