Centering Prayer - Wednesday in October

Rev. Karen Hagen will be our guide for a rich contemplative tradition within Christianity, “Centering Prayer is a receptive method of silent prayer that prepares us to experience God’s presence within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than consciousness itself.” (Father Keating)

Our first session will include an orientation of the spiritual practice as well as a “sit”. Please bring a candle to light in honor of the light you bring to our gathering.

Pike's Lake Hike / Canoe and Picnic - Oct 8th

Join us to see the fall foliage at Pike's Lake with a morning of canoeing or hiking supported by Riveredge Nature Center.
(Each canoe will have a Riveredge staff member in it.)

Bring a picnic lunch to eat together in the park after the hike/canoeing.
